Across the Globe, We Are United in helping others
KUF-Kids United Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to making a positive difference in our local and global communities.
From a very young age, Byron Jack Figueredo (pictured left) has always loved helping people in need, but there was always something standing in the way of his doing that—his age! After missing out on an opportunity to go to the Dominican Republic on a relief mission with his church because he was too young, Byron had finally had enough. He promised himself that he would never let his age get in the way of helping people again.
Byron realized that the best and only way he could affect real change at such a young age (15 years old) was to start and be the head of his own organization. He asked his mom (pictured right) for help in navigating the maze of red tape that is the IRS; recruited 4 of his friends to be on the board of directors; and just like that, KUF-Kids United Foundation was born.
